The issue on whether church discipline should be stopped or continued has long been deliberated upon with contradicting response.


But Today, the 19th day of September 2022 , the Youth Fellowship JJ held a debate on the topic: " Church Discipline; to be continued in all churches".


The Moderator in person of Emmy Ajik, the Time keeper- Queen, the panel of judges- Barr. Mrs. Baraje, Eld. Gomwalk, and Mr. Mabas.


The debaters from the Proposing side are: Mrs. Kunnier Adams, Mr. Rapheal Danfarna Atang, and Miss Elizabeth Azi. From the Opposing Side: Mr. Ajang Japheth, Mr. Benjamin Berlin, and Miss Anita Adasa.


The debaters brought solid points to support their motion. It is indeed an arguable topic.


Rev. Sele Dagok was also there to grace the debate of which he was given an opportunity to shade more light on some misconceptions about Church Discipline.


The floor was opened to the audience to ask questions and make contributions but the one question many asked was " What is the church doing to bring back those placed under church discipline?".


In the end, results were announced by the judges and The Opposing side with a total of 55% lost to the proposing side who totalled 65%.
